Crane smiles. "Who's to say I haven't scared him?" The grin fades. "However, the Joker is so insane as to make traditional measurements of fear completely impractical in terms of recording his reactions. It is quite rare indeed for his reactions to fear to be completely normal... and those few times I have seen it, it has involved the Bat."

He represses a small internal shudder.

"Why, judging from his reactions, you wouldn't think him even slightly frightened by the idea of his 'true love' getting carved into pieces by a scythe."

The Riddler has no intentions of simply handing out the answer to his crpytic comment about Mr. Dent, of course.

"You're being rude, Dr. Crane. Harleen's one of us, you shouldn't be practicing your Lecter routine on her."

All Crane's talk of 'skin peeling' and 'scythe cutting' made Harley uncomfortable. So, the Riddler's statement earned him a big, friendly smile. "Thank you! Yeah, what he said," she said making a face at Crane.

"So you don't talk to me like you're one of my old teachers or something."

"Science recognizes no moral boundaries, Mr. Nygma," Crane sniffs.

"Yeah, last I checked you couldn't get a degree in the Science of Fear," if they had even offered the class way back when Harley would've taken it.

As her major had been abnormal psychology. She was smart. When she wanted to be. Right now, she chose instead to get a refill on the bubble sugar pop!

She thought about that with a grin as she took another drink, "Or me and Pammy here could do it. 'Cause we have girl power."
